about
I used to live in a place that had a little attic-type room that my wife and I used as our bedroom. There was a huge tree on the front lawn that spread out gloriously and created a canopy over the street. In the fall, when the leaves changed colour, the sun would stream through them into our room and it felt like there was a golden glow shining in. We could lie in bed and look out the window, hear the traffic start and the people bustling below, all the while only seeing gold because the leaves came right up to the window..it was a magical spot and inspired this song.
